Hip-hop mogul Jermaine Dupri has hooked up with drummer and punk rock icon Travis Barker for a new clothing collection called “So So Famous,” which is a mashup between JD’s So So Def record label and Barker’s Famous Stars And Straps clothing brand. The new line will feature tees, belts, hoodies, as well as limited edition items. Lookout for the new collection in speciality stores and boutiques. They are really trying to take advantage of the influx of skateboard culture in hip-hop over the last 2-3 years. That’s what you call good business.

Jay-Z Headed To Warner Music Group?

Despite recent rumblings that Jay-Z is headed to Warner to start a new record label dubbed “The Carter Music Group,” the case isn’t so says Lyor Cohen, Former head of Island Def Jam and Current CEO of Warner Music Group. Cohen did, however, say he would jump at the opportunity if it ever presented itself:

I would be honored and privileged to work with him again. Bringing Jay-Z to the Warner Music Group would be a privilege and a coup. I’d do it in a heartbeat.
